2日間、浜松アリーナという体育館の会議室で缶詰状態の講習でした。
参加者はバッジテスト1級の合格者でインストラクターを目指す者です。
今の所私はすぐにどこかのスクールに所属してレッスンをするつもりはありませんが、
スタッフやバイト生を教える参考になればと思い参加しました。
主なテーマは安全確保、救急法、サービス業としてのインストラクター、そして実際のレッスンの知識と技術でした。
事前に思っていたよりもインストラクターとしての心構え的な要素が多く、自分が滑る立場からお客様へ教えて上げる立場になるという切り替えが大切と全員感じたと思います。
「自分が出来ることは出来て当たり前」という考えを捨てることからのスタートでした。
毎シーズン私は何人もの初心者やある程度のレベルのスタッフにボードを教えてきました。自分なりに本などで勉強したり自分がスクールに入った事などを思い出して教えてあげてきたつもりです。
ただ体系だってレッスン方法や心構えについて勉強したことはなかったので新鮮でした。教えて上げる時にもっと選択肢があっただろうし、自分の尺度でレッスンをしていたという反省点も分かりました。
日赤から救急法の講師が来られ、実際に雪山で事故に遭遇した場合の対処法や足首、手首、鎖骨の骨折などの疑いの時の三角巾を使った固定法を習いました。
今まで三角巾を売っていながら、その使用法について知らなかったことに気付きました。
またその時習った結び方は「本結び」でしっかり結べる上に、簡単にほどける事に結構感動しました。結び方は”三角巾の取り扱い”サイトに載っています。是非一度ご覧ください。はな薬局の各店舗を回って講習しようと思います
講師がレーサーのプロの方で休憩時間にはレーサーとしてのターン（谷まわり、山まわりの区別）に対する考え方を聞くことが出来ました。
谷まわりは自分にとって課題だっただけに大いに参考になりました。
雪のシーズンが楽しみです。
眠気と戦いながら2日間終了、無事Ｃ級インストラクターの認定証を頂きました。
ウナギ・餃子・ボード談義
折角の浜松なのでやはり夜はウナギと思いネットで調べたお店へ行きました。街中はブラジル、フリィピン系の外国人の姿がとても多く、ここはどこの国という雰囲気です。
何とか探しあてたところまでは良かったが店の前には待っている人が・・。
やっぱり美味しい店かなと思いその人の後に並ぼうとしたら店の人が「本日は終了しました」の看板を持って出て来て売り切れとの事。残念！！
もう一つ、浜松は餃子が名物と聞いたので親しくなった受講生の方とお昼にかよったラーメン屋でお昼に餃子を食べました。味は不味くもなく特にむっちゃ旨いという程でもなく取敢えず美味しく頂きました。一個が結構大きいのが特徴でした。
親しくなった彼は名古屋の方で、チャオ御岳がホームゲレンデ、春の連休でも結構良いコンディションで滑れるなど色々ボード談義に花を咲かせました。
私と同じアルペンの彼はＢ級イントラを目指しており、私も刺激を受けました。
自分の滑りはまだＢ級を目指せる物ではないが、それを目標にトレーニングに励もうと思います。
浜松への思い
講習地に浜松を選んだのには、広島など近くの開催地が日程の都合で選べなかったのともう一つ理由があります。
浜松は私の一番親しかった友人とその家族が以前に住んでいた街。
引越しして今はもう居ませんが、過去に何度か行った事があります。
懐かしさと今はいない寂しさの交錯する複雑な思いの街でした。
